Our own fans were legging our own players down the street when Danjuma changed his mind. We’d just been turned over by bottom of the league relegation doomed Southampton, and looked nailed on to be relegated ourselves at that time. It’s really no wonder why he had second thoughts.

It also sounds like he may have more attractive options right now, which suggests he should be at least half decent. We really aren’t in a position to be holding onto a grudge that would only see us cutting our nose to spite our face.

Agreed.

We just need a team of misfits for 1 year to keep us (preferably comfortably) in the league.

Danjuma isn`t coming to Everton, Gnonto is probably the most high profile signing in this window. I think we will also be scrabbling around to sign a striker of any sort of note by deadline day.

The sum of this window will be Young, Gnonto, Elanga and a panic Maupay type signing on deadline day.

Dont think so dyche will want a cf if money is spent on the rest.

Sounds plausible but if we can get Gnonto in and striker loan like Broja or such caliber would be ok

Centre forward has Wout Weghorst late in the window written all over it…

I think there will be some movement later on, loan market especially. Also see grey leaving without a doubt, possibly even Iwobi with only a year left. Have to make sure we have the right replacements in for them.

Ideally another centre back once Holgate finally leaves, and another player who can vaguely do the same job as doucoure does for us would be useful.

CF should have been number one priority but as those are the most expensive and we are in a bad position financially and attraction wise, we are looking at a younger player with potential or an experienced player on loan. I am thinking Dyche will want one of these by the first game or at least the end of the window.
