He's mentioned before that he 'expects' Everton to be in for Gnonto, danjuma and Elanga so it would be logical to expect these to be the three incomings. Personally I think the three incomings will be Weghorst on loan, Phil Jones on a free and Bill Kenright on a 10 year contract as player/Chairman

I know we are rubbish, but we are not nailed on... There's still some terrible teams in this league and a couple that have just come up...

He's 38. He only had so many options. It's another year of premier league footy on a weekly wage that the average fan will struggle to make in a year.

Apart from the fact we now know Elanga is going elsewhere, it sounds like Danjuma is off to Milan and we can't afford Leeds'asking price.

Going to end up with Che Adams, Wout Weghorst and Adama Traore (or similar) I strongly suspect.

I agree, but he also hasn't taken the huge Saudi money on offer yet, which suggests to me he is hanging around to see if a European club will give him a good offer. As we get desperate I expect a deal to be done. Probably for £30k pw more than we want to pay but £20k less pw than he would ideally want.

The worry I have is..

We are seemingly skint because all money recouped is going towards the stadium.

But why is the stadium costing us an arm and a leg in finance then?

Eh, I've not said we aren't in for him. We obviously are.

And if it helps you towards some 'evidence', just after the Elanga story broke this morning, Bobble's co-host tweeted out about how the situation is 'proper grim' - he only comments on these things after he has got on the phone to Bobble usually, so it would certainly seem to fit.

But Elanga is actual garbage.
