Summer transfer window 2023

Last season we were reliably told by many that we would not sign anybody.
At the same times we were strongly link with dozens of players and I think that Tarkowski was one of the very few that happened... it did not take an itk that transfer was likely.

Eventually we brought in a total of eight, nine if Kudus had joined.

Apart from a couple of days before the transfers happened I don't remember any links to Vinagre, Onana, Garner,McNeill or Kudus.
I can't remember about Coady, McNeill or Maupay.

I certainly have no idea how much we have to spend or who our targets are, but for everybody who says we are chasing Gnonto and Toure there are others saying we are not involved at all... so goodness knows.

I would expect we will bring in players not mentioned at all yet and I think we will have to wait as we try to manufacture deals that we can afford and at the same time are acceptable to the clubs selling.

But, I do think players will arrive.
I think the same, but I thoroughly enjoy the fume on here.

My favourite is when we link players ourselves (Weghorst, Adams etc), with absolutly no supporting evidence, then proceed to get cross with the club for even considering it (when they aren't)

Eh, I've not said we aren't in for him. We obviously are.

And if it helps you towards some 'evidence', just after the Elanga story broke this morning, Bobble's co-host tweeted out about how the situation is 'proper grim' - he only comments on these things after he has got on the phone to Bobble usually, so it would certainly seem to fit.

But Elanga is actual garbage.
Can you post the link to the elanga story then. Or is it just a jarg source .
Bobble knows little bits . Not everything. And his mate is trying to drum up subscribers . The basic rate to join the patreon is now sold out . Odd that

Alright mate, I feel like a lot of people have an issue with Bobble and co. that's fine - take it up with them.

I'm fully aware they aren't told everything, however, in my experience, they are usually on the money. Haven't given me any reason to doubt them so far.

I know, but it very much sounds like we could not even get close to what Leeds want. And, as much as I like the player, if we end up paying over £30m (no matter how it's structred), we've overpaid. I really don't think this is a goer at all.

Sounds like typical stupid Everton to me, expecting another club to cave when they have absolutely no reason to and we don't have the money to present an even remotely appealing deal.

At this rate, we'll agree to their £40m, agree terms with the player, then dust off the faked Leroy Fer medical report (the one with the exploding knees) and then demand they knock 50% off, hoping that they won't want an advanced deal to collapse.

It's one of Bill's negotiating masterclasses.
Leeds have spent a lot money last few years I’d imagine they need to bring money in this summer. Rodrigo gone for 3mil. 2 of their signings just gone out on loan. Aaronson and roca. Harrison and Gnonto are the 2 players they will likely get Money for. And Gnonto would be decent profit, compared to the kid they paid 30mil for in January, which they’re never getting back this summer

They get info which is fine, the fact they charge for a podcast for this info is what is a little off, also they were dragged kicking and screaming into calling this board out by signing the open letter with other fan groups once they knew which way the wind was blowing , disingenuous to say the least

Much weaker?? Mina is a loss (when fit and used) but… who has gone to make it much weaker? Simms? Gordon? ISS? Wouldn’t class this squad as ‘much weaker’ than last season.
Begovic, Coady Mina, Simms that's 4 players who either played or in the last squad for the last few games.

If we didn't have Mina in those last few games we would be down now, without any doubt, as every man and his dog seen Michael Keane v Newcastle and Leicester, am surprised we only conceaded the 7 in those games

I've no issue with them. But as I said other people get stuff they don't..
Young for instance wasn't mentioned until it was well known by others .

Kev is doing an amazing job, really is.

Progress is astonishing.
Not defending KT in the slightest but, it should be remembered that...

a. we are hardly flush with transfer budget funds and...
b. Moshiri has entrusted transfer matters to our 'revered ace negotiator' who masquerades as Chairman.

In a nutshell, I imagine that KT is probably as cheesed off with matters as most of us are. Can't imagine any self-respecting DoF being as hogtied as he appears to be by a nincompoop majority shareholder and a narcissistic, delusion riddled, supposedly no longer involved (don't make me laugh), Good Times toting dinosaur.
