I do think that list is a case of tailoring the stats/facts to embolden their position though... no mention of Gana sale to PSG, Lukaku sale to Man Utd etc etc... just a list of players who didn't work out.

Yes, you’re right, stats can be produced to fit the argument being made but there’s no doubt we mismanaged that initial investment in the playing squad. It’s all the more frustrating when you see how other teams have done so much better with their cash.

Going forward I think the model needs to be buying to sell as it’s the most sustainable - allowing us to reinvest. The hard bit is picking the gems and swallowing the fact that we’ll be a feeder club of sorts. I’ve no issue with taking this approach as we’ve tried a few others and have been left in an absolute state.

The handful of times I've seen him , he's got neymars ego and attitude but less ability than Mark Pembridge.

It doesn’t get any better my friend does it? New staff, new players, new board….. one common denominator remains and they are the constant at the club. Change is needed.

The midfield probably requires the least amount of investment right now. We are desperate for a striker and a right winger, as well as probably one more full back cover.

Agree on priorities but our Midfield is week.

If that is the case it's the most obvious thing ever to do, which explains why we haven't.

No, just as I said mate, they never said how much the "Minimal fee" was just that he has a clause that he can go back to the PL on loan. It sounds like most of their squad have clauses of sorts apart from Gnonto and one or two others.

This is my biggest concern, especially with our winnable opening fixtures, they feel huge.

Nothing happening is there lads. Let’s be honest we’ll be starting the season with DCL as our only striker (Maupay doesn’t count) and scratching around on deadline day again. Clearly still need sales to sign anyone of note which highlights the criminal mismanagement. Glad blue Bill is still around though

They're going to have to be on the bench at least. With DCL and Coleman looking nailed on to be out injured, Gbamin nowhere to be seen and with Holgate and Gray looking to be sold we're going to struggle to fill the bench if players like Gomes and Dele aren't included.
