Summer transfer window 2023

Wont accept this at all i am sure the club will not let this happen. We go into this season without any attacking transfers before the fulham game will be massive anger

My fear is that the club will have no choice. Anybody we want may prove to be out of our range or receive a more attractive offer elsewhere. In that case we will be casting around to see who is available at the end of the window. It's only one scenario but it's not unlikely

If it was on offer then I'd take a draw against Fulham now. It's more than possible that we go into that game without a fit recognised centre forward

Thats the problem we have as a club.
When you look at fixtures beginning of the season, Fulham at home should be one you earmark for 3 points!
Enquiring, keeping tabs on, interested in new recruits will scupper that opportunity as if we do bring players in, its not going to be before the opening fixtures!
Its like we are purposely tying our hands behind our backs!

Agree feels that way at this time , i just cant accept any excuse for us not to be ready this season

I think they're doing the usual breaking the DCL news to us gently. Who knows when he'll be fit really? There's a lot of goodwill around for Dele now, I know, but I'm not sure he's going to be around next season. If he was, would that make you feel confident going into the Fulham game?

I don’t think anybody would feel confident when he first lines up but if Dyche feels confident enough to start him and it’s him in over Maupay we’d all feel a lot more optimistic about the game ahead

We have a habit of leaving things to the last possible moment. Last season we waited to the last possible moment, and then brought in Maupay! The fact he still seems to be our main striker sums up what is wrong with us. Get somebody better in last week! And give them an actual chance to gel with the squad
