Morning mates.

Welcome to the 19th July Everton transfer 💩 show…..

I’ve tried to bundle together as many of the transfer rumours flying around, combining them into one bite size and heart burn inducing portion for your dining pleasure.

I make some apology for some of the sources and articles used.

Everton are ‘in the sprint’ for Salernitana forward Boulaye Dia with his €25m release clause set to expire tomorrow at midnight. That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who say that more and more ‘insistent’ rumours from England suggest that the Toffees are ready to move for the player.

Everton don’t have the budget to increase their bid for El Bilal Toure much unless they make sales this summer, according to Paul Brown.

The Almeria striker appears to be one of the Toffees’ primary transfer targets, with the Spanish side’s CEO Mohamed El Assy confirming to Diario de Almeria on 4 July that an offer had been made, and The Mirror (13 July) have reported since it as much as £25million on the table for the 21-year-old.

Everton have already sold academy graduate Ellis Simms to Coventry City in a bid to raise funds for the transfer operations. Another Everton academy product, Tom Cannon, is attracting interest from Championship side Preston North End.

Everton now look extremely unlikely to sign Koni De Winter from Juventus. The defender is ‘getting closer and closer’ to finalising his decision to remain in Turin this summer, according to Tutto Juve.

Yes another day and another round of transfer rumour and speculation with Everton linked to a number of players, including once again, Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho. Now new sources claim Everton have registered their interest in signing the Leicester and former Manchester City striker Iheanacho.

Aston Villa are still keen on signing Leeds United youngster Wilfried Gnonto this summer, but Everton appear to be ahead of them in the race. According to Sport Mediaset [via Sport Witness], Gnonto has the option to join either Villa or Everton this summer, with an exit from Leeds expected due to their relegation to the Championship.

Thing is, if Everton are ready to move, we all know full well they'll put in a bid for less than the value of his release clause the day after the clause expires.

Many thanks. If we could sign Gnonto and Iheanacho and nobody else before the Fulham game then I'd be (sort of) happy. Then a couple of dodgy loans before the end of the window and 17th place looks like a live possibility

All feels very desperate.

It was like in January we apparently tried for about 30 players and got none in.

Either we haven't got a pot to piss in or we have people who aren't the best at navigating the transfer market. Or both.
I've been thinking the last 1 myself, we have little to no money but we also don't have the right people trying to do the deals. We have tried and failed with to many deals for it to just be about money. I don't think I've ever seen a club miss out on so many targets before.

Absolutely. Selling him will not fund a spending spree

If Chelsea goes back with a bid of £90m for Caciedo and it gets knocked back I can see them coming in for Onana.

If that happens it will be at a point where it's too late to use the money, and it'll be swallowed into the hole of oblivion to pay for the stadium and add to our balances to make us look more attractive to buyers.
