Even though he has not been mentioned, apart from you, it could well be a transfer we may look at. I am sure he would love to get back in the Premiership , is at a good age, has plenty of talent but his career seems to have stalled a little in the championship.

Sarr just isn't very good mate, twice he has played in the Prem posting similar numbers and twice he has played in the Championship posting similar figures (hardly setting the world alight) He is only just 25 and seems to have clearly hit his ceiling level imo, Watford fans don't seem too bothered either way about him.

Kenwright wanted Dyche, Thelwell wanted Corberan but he had not long signed for WBA and didn't want to jump again into something else. Thelwell apparently sided with Kenwright over the Bielsa shout from Moshiri (don't blame him on that tbh)

Problem with moving players on is a team needs to want them & they have to agree to leave. I imagine Gomes is already eyeing a lucrative Bosman next summer.

indeed very true that is why i dont expect a lot in transfer feees. Maybe we have more luck with Gbamin if he really does not want to return.
but you are right it is telling that Gomes was not involved and Holgate did not travel (because Dele & DCL did travel but were not fit to play / seem to train partly on their own). Bring on Saturday lol

Anytime I have seen him I have generally been impressed.
I agree his career has stalled at Watford but that may be a reflection on the club than the player.
I noticed last season Joao Pedro got 11 goals from 35 games as a striker whereas Sarr got 10 from 39 as a winger.

Closer than we were yesterday and now getting closer to tomorrow. If the deal was due Monday we are getting further away, if its due Friday we are getting closer.

Close, but how close only those who are close to the closeness can really know.
