If the Nut is right (and we have no reason to doubt him) this'll be the second one that's got to the stage of booking a medical without a peep from ITKs or the usual journos (although Myers does seem to know something's afoot). Clearly doing a decent job of plugging leaks.

Also would show that we shouldn't have too much faith in the links these guys do come up with, nor should we panic over them (or the lack of them).
Also better for us to do this covertly like this anyway. I mean look at us as fans, we genuinely don't even know if the club can spend money this summer, never mind if we will or not. I think other clubs sort of having the idea that we're skint, even if we're not, will be great for us. Means we wont' be held to ransom and overpay. All the fees so far this summer for our links, outside of Toure, have been reasonable.

We could be paying around £35m on Young, Danjuma, Iheanacho and Gnonto for example, that's less than we paid for Iwobi ffs. Spend another £15m-£30m on a CB, CM and backup keeper if we need them and we'll have massively balanced and improved the squad for less than we got for selling Kean and Gordon.

Looking at the Leicester forum, they are gutted at him leaving, more so than a few high profile others. He’s very well liked and regarded and the general feel is he got a raw deal at he club.
Only because he was one of few that were trying towards the end. He's erratic and is like sunday league footballer half the time

If we could offload Gomes and Iwobi then getting a good midfielder isn’t impossible, of course getting the other 3 over the line first.

I think Ward-Prowse would be perfect for us, consistent and never misses a game through injury.

On Iwobi, we've got 2 wingers coming in, I wonder if that means we'll see Iwobi in midfield a bit more, even if Gray goes I could see that being the case.

Nearly all forward players are erratic. We should accept he'll be a bit frustrating sometimes...same for Gnonto...but he seems to have a good attitude and when he's on song he looks pretty impressive to me.
