Elanga might have been a nice cheapo steal if under 10m, but a swerve at 15m. Boniface I'm not sure was ever more than one tweet from that Belgian journalist. Gnonto would be a blow though.

I'm not his biggest fan, but this narrative is harsh. I don't have a problem with him defensively. He's fine in that regard IMO.

With the ball at his feet, contributing to our attacking play, he's incredibly limited. That isn't going to get dramatically better.
