I dont wish to be a pedantic, but euro-poubd is 0.87 not 0.75, so the total deal is between 24/25m. That's before PL tax is thrown on. And theres a 15% sell on.

It's a big package. Probably double what was paid for Maupay. There a debate to be said around whether we could get better, and it's open to question. But it's quite a substantial investment for a lad who got 5 goals in Sweden and 9 in Belgium.

Here you are mate 17.5 mill euro (before add ons), is 15.15 GBP - im often stung on exchange over and back on the border.

For a centre forward with risk/potential - our market essentially, im not sure we are getting better then that - i suppose my point is i dont think its that expensive for a centre forward - its prob the most expensive position market.

Im not sure your coming home with anything better for 15 mill ++ (before add ons) - we know we will have to structure a deal and be flexible with add ons - i.e. Onana.

Has there ever been a footballer with a worse injury record than this lad ?. He is right up there in the Darren Anderton levels of absence.
I don't think he is injured in a typical sense, more that he is having the whole summer to sort himself out. Was at a German specialist for a few weeks.

You don’t get it do you, Leeds will do all they can to hold him, we know what he’s worth, Leeds know what they want, their fans want daft money for someone with 2 goals last season

Of the teams there were the most likely, Inter/Juve/Milan/Napoli all have better quality than him and Villa have just spent big on Diaby but if Leeds price him out our range there isn’t a damn thing we can do given our finances
Not good to hold onto a player that wants to leave. If Leeds won’t release him than there in for a ride .. he’s only 19 still immature.
