I think the club have known all along he wouldn't come. It's one of our many fantasy land transfers. We'll end up signing dross instead for a fraction of the price (although still too much).

Lots of red flags over this one for me. The deal, not the player.

He will go to whatever benefits his club agent and player financially, nothing to do with European football.
