Che Adams is not an exciting link at all, but an utterly inevitable one.
He’s born to play in a Dyche team. Works his tail off, makes life tough for defenders, gets into goalscoring positions regularly, but lacks the deadly instinct and pace to make him elite. Sort of player Dyche loves to work with.

Personally think he’d be a far better fit than Maupay as his target man/link up play is much better - even if his finishing no improvement.

Would obviously be disappointing if he was the only addition up top, but I do think he’d be an improvement. Not a big one, but an improvement

Che Adams is 4 foot tall tho!!!

He is 5'9" tall. Hardly a target man

With his back to goal, he's v good tbf to him, regardless of his height. Knock a ball into him and he's very good at holding it up and bringing other people in. Very, very strong.

As said though, that's pretty much all he has going for him.

Target men don't have to be 6ft plus by definition - Mark Hughes, one of the best target men I've seen in the last 30 years, was 5ft 10

'He's born to play in a Dyche team' The sentence no parent wants to hear

Che Adams would do well to get double figures in the Championship, he would be an atrocious signing and would have absolutely no impact on us solving our goalscoring problem.

We have enough strikers who don’t score, enough is enough.
