Was just going to post that. The guy it comes from has less than 1k followers on Twitter but does work for Fussballtransfers.com, a German website with 14k followers. So no idea how reliable.

The 'large fee' part suggests nonesense. But we were tentatively linked a few months back according to some Brazilian journalists.
All depends how that "large fee" is structured. You could easily argue we agreed a large fee with Almeria for Toure

With his back to goal, he's v good tbf to him, regardless of his height. Knock a ball into him and he's very good at holding it up and bringing other people in. Very, very strong.

As said though, that's pretty much all he has going for him.

Target men don't have to be 6ft plus by definition - Mark Hughes, one of the best target men I've seen in the last 30 years, was 5ft 10
All well and good, but the people he’d be bringing into play aren’t good in front of goal either.

Hopefully they’ll get rid of goal difference and bring in bringing others into play difference instead and we’ll be golden.

Well we play 100x better when Dom is in the side and he doesn’t score so…

You would think that South American teams would be more amenable to a low up front fee with a guaranteed high total value, compared to European teams as they don't have anywhere near the same level of guaranteed income.

I get you and agree with a lot of what u are saying. I just think a big target man would work better. McNeil may not be the quickest but he is technically good and can pass the ball into the box if there was someone there to take it and adding Danjuma to the team means more capability for a good pass into the box begging for a big guy to take it

Not having the source but he's been linked to us since 2021 so it might be something we're following up on if he's been on a recruitment list since then.

Well this is a bit depressing and typical:

STATS OF YURI ALBERTO

15games, 2 goals, 2 assists, 585' per goal.
Looks properly rubbish. That highlights reel, bar one good header and one nice bit of close control followed by a finish, seemed to just be him falling over, shooting straight at the keeper or having badly scuffed shots and headers turned in by a team-mate.

However, I am judging the lad from a highlights reel. Never even seen one minute of him actually playing a match. Have seen Che Adams loads of times and know he is utter garbage.
