If you look at cahill, the main problem of Maupay is his finishing. Cahill can score but Maupay cant. We can adjust our style for Maupay but if he even cant score and create chances to others, does he still have PL standard?

Just don't think he's a good striker
Has underperformed his xG consistently
Can be better in a different system as @kenada_blue mentioned but even in that he underperformed

Didn't always start coz they mixed up formations quite a bit
but he would be a threat for us alright and is an extra forward we desperately need

Just to highlight yet again that we currently have :

Garner, Gomes, Gmbamin, Gana, Onana, Dele, Doucs and Iwobi who can all play DM/CM.

No, I dont think most of them are any good at football, but they exist.

Ive highlighted the players you've listed who will be considered to play DM/CM.

If you think Doucoure (for example) will play anything other than an advanced role then you will be disappointed...same goes for Iwobi and Dele.

Gomes and Gbamin shouldnt be here and arent able to play DM/CM to a level worthy of the name.

So we have 3 players who can play DM/CM.

I could show stats that showed that Gomes, Iwobi, Dele and Doucs have all played CM in the Premier League and im sure you wont dispute that Gmbamin is a DM/CM for sure.

I get it, you expect them to be moved on and we wouldnt need to replace them all, but we would need to either use or move on some of them.
