Hes played as a Striker quite a lot to be honest mate.Danjuma he's like a new striker except he isn't a striker...
Depends what we would offere i would try for 2 year deal option of 3 with relase clause in his contract. Agree tough deal but could be a great move imoThere were similar reports about Bernard the summer we signed him, his agent was asking for crazy money, no one bit and he joined us at the end of the window. I still don’t think we’ll get Kamada though.
In that interview with Gary Neville he said he was injured and recovering from that.Thinking maybe more a full fitness thing and not an injury.
I'll take this "not a striker" over the actual strikers we have.Danjuma he's like a new striker except he isn't a striker...
They wanted Maupay for 17m euros last summer, based on the full career he's had and the qualities he has. A bad year somewhere totally unsuitable for him takes that value down but it doesn't obliterate it, he's not a different player. I'd say somewhere around 10m Euros is a reasonable valuation for a deal like this. These things aren't done in one transaction but I'd say a deal where we pay 30m Euros and they pay 10m Euros for would be a reasonable one.I think given they probably don’t want to sell along with the season Maupay has had, valuing him even over €10m is probably tough. They’ll probably want €20m-€25m + Maupay at a minimum I’d imagine.
Typical it’s never the fans fault. Whilst we can’t take accountability for our disgusting fans Everton will continue to be the dog wagged by its tail.Well if the owner can be cajoled into spending money by the fans we know again where the problem lies and its not with the fans IMHO.
Everton fans want to take all the credit when there’s any sort of reflective credit to be had yet it’s never their fault when they hamstrung the club, which is often.Accountable for what? If you think that fans had any influence over how the Board spent the money Moshiri put into the club you are overestimating the power of the Everton supporter. You only have to look at the way the club has been run for years to see the Board have no thought as to the wants or needs of the people who pay to watch the team. A prime example of the regard Kenwright and Moshiri have for the supporters of the club is the way they leaked lies about headlocks and their safety towards the end of last season. The total disregard of the fans is now compounded by the fact Kenwright is still in post. In order to hold people accountable those people have to be accountable, in the sorry demise of a once great football club there are people who should be held to account, diluting the blame only serves to put of the day when those who are truly responsible have to take responsibility. Hopefully that day is not too far off, hopefully the club can rid itself of the incompetence at the top and then, and only then, it can start the long process of healing both in terms of sporting achievement and integrity.
You're a brave poster mate, most folk don't want to talk about this, fair playEverton fans want to take all the credit when there’s any sort of reflective credit to be had yet it’s never their fault when they hamstrung the club, which is often.
Thank you I just wanna try and be fair at all times mate. Some Evertonians, who cried “it’s not your money” at other fans when Everton wasted money that nearly relegated them are the real issue here and I think all normal blues can see them squirm when I gently ask them to be a little accountable. You're a brave poster mate, most folk don't want to talk about this, fair play
I spent about 2 years saying it.Thank you I just wanna try and be fair at all times mate. I’ve genuinely never known you to get a big footballing opinion right on here, it’s like your superpower just being dead wrong.I spent about 2 years saying it.
I wish to say I am NOT sorry and I will do it again.
Only time will tell if it will be a good deal. If we get him, and starts banging them in then yes , it will be.I think Maupay would probably do well in Italy but we don’t really get to factor that in on our side. He’s been poor for Everton so his value isn’t that high. We’d probably gladly sell him for £10m, so in a swap deal his value would be lessened in the favour of them.
I just don’t think this deal represents good value or business for us honestly. We’re much better off going for Iheanacho and Gnonto for the same “value”, even though at this point we’re leaving it so late now that those deals will be harder to get done.
