“It’s a tough market,” Dyche said. “There’s only so much that we can do so we’re working very hard — I can assure everyone of that — to construct deals that can work.

Asked whether he was confident of doing any business soon, the Everton manager added: “We’ll see. There’s no exact moment until it’s over the line. There’s been situations we’ve been in where we thought we were going to get it over the line and we don’t, and that’s the way it goes."

Horrendous.
Basically we're nowhere near bringing anyone in. Wouldn't be surprised if we don't buy someone for proper money, loans and free's at best, I think we are skint. If we get a transfer ban we really are up a stream without a paddle.

No confidence there...

All the eggs were in the Bilal Toure basket and it was clear as day the lad was never joining us.

At this stage all hope is lost.

That interview has floored me. It's not good enough for him to state that. In any case I dont particularly want to hear from Dyche. The DoF should be getting interviewed to account for himself and his overseeing of the degradation of this club.

No sale of a player like Onana or Pickford and there'll be no incomings.

I mean it would help if the club would actually stump up the money that clubs are wanting for their players like..

I'm not saying we should be 'overpaying' of course, it's part of what landed us in a mess in the first place, but when you talk & act like absolute paupers it's little wonder that other clubs don't treat us seriously in the market...

This 100%

At the start of a football season every fan should be going into it with some optimism, Seems like Bill and his puppets have totally destroyed that.

Getting to the point now we're I CBA anymore.

What happened to the interview Thelwell was meant to be doing?
