Edit: Breverton?
…..been linked with a couple of these ‘Quarterback’ type midfielders. Could be something in it.
And that's the possible fly in the ointment. Usmanov isn't funding anyone or anything. We'll need to find real sponsorship. This is the key, hopefully a Man City style sponsorship of the kits and stadium for about £60m a year. That was clearly the plan with Usmanov, before he was sanctioned.
Which reminds me, Brererton Diaz is on the market now isn't he ?

Launch it to the end zone?…..been linked with a couple of these ‘Quarterback’ type midfielders. Could be something in it.
I definitely, without evidence, think that the desire to spend money has receded significantly. Moshiri has blown loads of cash, ruined his investment, got a stadium funding bill hanging over his head and has the fans screaming for blood. Why would he want to spend even more? He doesn't even watch the games. What is niggling me right now is the idea that this MSP/Others thing rumbles on, Moshiri / club spends nothing so the books look more attractive for negotiation and then they back out last minute to leave us with a deadline day Kenwright special again. Manage/Dyche gets the blame again and we have Big Sam in Jan.
I got all of that catastrophising from us not signing Coady and letting Mina go - and they fact we didn't manage to spend a penny in January.
Could it be that we actually have zero cashflow right now ?
….all looks a bit slow motion to me but knows where the goal is.
Who said I was happy with those two to partner Tarkowski. Maguire isn't the be all and end all and he's as error strewn as the two of them. Utd have supposedly offered him £10m to leave probably as part of a deal so a loan deal wouldn't suit them if that's right.Ok so who would you go for? Or are you happy with Keane or holgate next to Tarkowski
The source is the Daily Mail. Should give you a clue.Hopefully its made up.
Let's take Keane-Lite for the measly wage of about £200k a week on top of the £25-30m(?) United will probably want for an utterly god-awful defender. Cracking idea.I’d take harry maguire on loan next season, I know many oh here wouldn’t. He was solid at Leicester and he was always on a hiding to noting at utd and costing 80mil. I know he’s on a lot of money, but he’s better than Keane, holgate, Godfrey and him and Tarkowski could be a good partnership, with Branthwaite as back up.
With our finances and the way dyche sets up, I think that would suit maguire
Is he no good? Haven't seen much of him tbh. Played well in one game I watched. Wrong age profile, which is a problem.Hopefully its made up.
