They apparently won’t him gone, do you think they will get 30mil and any team interested including West Ham will pay him 200kThey are both walking calamities, and neither one should be within ten miles of the club, let alone on the pitch (there's a reason Real Madr- I mean, West Spam seem to be leading the "chase" for this bang-average schmuck who found his level marking Pietro the fisherman in a friendly against San Marino B).
And any loan deal would surely require us picking up his wages in full. Let's not pretend United have a desperate need to get him off the books or would happily cover half the cost of his wages for us out of the goodness of their business hearts. #MaguireOut

Pretty much most players who don't mke a formal transfer request get a "pay off" of some amount, as they are contractually still obligated money after all if under contract (sometimes including a percentage of any sell on fee). It's nothing new or unusual. In Slabhead's case -assuming he even wants to leave- it'll be a big number because the Brain Trust at United put him on £10-15m a year; and I doubt United will give him away for buttons. To be fair, for the last few days its been rumoured that United are going to pay Maguire off.
I’d take Harvey Barnes from Leicester just as an excuse to keep posting this:

Everton would be permitted to lose 60-70 million this season if they wanted to. Those were not FFP losses. 170 Million of losses over the last 2 years were attributed to COVID, and according to their accounts at least 20 million was the Stadium. The investment does not impact FFP, we posted losses of £195m over 3 years
We are a long way from financial freedom
…..mostly disappointed me when I watched him last season. I‘m not convinced he plays like the game matters & there‘s much better value out there.
It doesn't matter if he's better than keane, he's still not worth half his salarySee where i say on loan and for half his salary
And anyone who thinks Keane is better or even on the same level, is off their nut
Wow! Well if United are going to give him £10m to go and let a lad they dropped £80m on walk on a free transfer then I don't know what to say to that. They must have money to burn.I believe that the rumour ie they will pay him off to move him out for free.
Our 3 year rolling loss was £372m, and they’ve tried various ways of attributing the losses (covid, stadium etc); that’s why we’ve been referred to an independent commission to see if this was legible.Everton would be permitted to lose 60-70 million this season if they wanted to. Those were not FFP losses. 170 Million of losses over the last 2 years were attributed to COVID, and according to their accounts at least 20 million was the Stadium.
For example, last years accounts had losses of 120 million, but only 38 million of that was attributable to the club(the rest was stadium, covid etc), and allegedly a good portion of that CAN be included in their add-backs. This years accounts will most likely be net positive unless the revenue drop from position is too big. Its very much a "have your cake and eat it too" for people to bring out our raw losses and ignore the FFP numbers, but then contest raw profit and make it about FFP numbers. The biggest issue is NOBODY on this board, or on twitter knows what the actual number is, because of the confusing way the league lets teams do "add-backs" and other things. Thats why that number has never been published, or known by even people in the media, its a guarded secret by the league for each team.

Not some bad shouts there, but it's easier said than done.Gyerokes last year of contract throw simms or maupay in, cannon on loan any option to make it as cheap as possible
I know it’s a long shot but I would love Smith Rowe or Fabio Veira on loan especially if Arsenal decide they need another body in the middle , Carney Chukwuemeka from Chelsea on loan aswell he will find it hard to get in the Chelsea squad one of them three to go along Onana and Garner in the middle.
We need a RW & LB to start who is better than we have I have not got any idea whoand a RB would like Tino Livramento but could be hard and looks like we won’t have no money
