Be a bench player more than anything, play cup games against lower level opposition and maybe get the odd start at home against the teams in and around us. He will be raw has hell won’t he so we will have to ease him in
If that's the case pointless signing. We need someone to start when DCL is out, which no doubt will be often.

Based on Dyche's results with last years squad we would have finished 11th, so I think they view mid-table as not only attainable but expected. Regardless of formation I think too many have been condition to believe the team is worse than it is(its not good, mind you) because of Lampard. At no time(in the past 25 years) has Everton played anywhere close to a relegation level except the last few months of Benitez, and throughout the reign of Lampard.
Essentially 2 seasons of last ditch relegation fights has everyone forgetting this.

If we'd had anyone better than the fsw and fat Frank then we'd just have had 2 seasons of mid table obscurity and looking at another ahead of us.

As soon as the finances return to normal and we can operate more freely in the transfer market, then this squad should be capable of ticking over in the Premier League. Hardly nil satis nisi optimum but that's life under Moshiri and Kenwright.

Other than that, buy a striker/couple of wingers/ creative midfielder/couple of full backs and we'll be fine. Oh and another centre back.

Cole palmer on loan with an option to buy.. who says no

Mate your posting history is very sus.

Joao felix on loan anyone?

Looks class this lad.. early prediction he bags 15+ goals for us this season

Should be able to get at least 10-15m from the Saudis if their interest in gomes is it to be believed. Use all that cash towards another attacker, wouldn’t mind going in for someone like Ben brereton diaz.

Wouldn’t mind someone like michael antonio he’s a handful for defenders on his day and could act as a mentor to our younger forwards dobbin and chermiti (if he signs).

If we signed Gnonto as THE attacker we'd be in trouble by virtue of the fact that he lacks any kind of intelligent movement apart from making an obvious run across a back four.
but then wouldnt that be problem with suply? Dyche would Definitely think theres a player in our squad who can give him passes between the lines (if he Indeed is after Gnontz)
