Why do I care what Leicester paid for him? If he’s available for 15mil it’s not a bad deal. If it’s more than that, it’s probable not good value.
Well you might not care, but I’m afraid Leicester do. £15m for him would be terrible business but exactly the sort of thing we’d do.

They paid 23mil for him, not 28. They have less bargaining power by some accounts. So they may have to take a loss. To what extent, we can’t know. If we pay anywhere close to what they did, then it’s stupid of us. If they don’t want to sell at a loss, then that’s up to them.
I don’t think we should buy him because he isn’t very good.

I suppose I look at his entire record. 30 odd a season in Austria, and then 2 disappointing seasons in the UK. If we were paying 30m for him, I'd be worried. If it's a loan, it's a bit of a different discussion.
I can understand why Leicester fans are upset with him, but from the bits I've seen of him hes better than Maupay.
