We would probably have won today with someone of the level of Che Adams at centre forward. We just needed some half decent forward play and we win that match.

Unfortunately that’s just a feature of having an incredibly selfish, greedy and incompetent Board of Directors (which consists of the owner, the Chairman, and some new interim recruits). The stadium is going to be great but from a purely footballing perspective, the stadium has created all sorts of issues for this club.

I don't think it's unfit as in the sense you're thinking, but more being ready for the rigours of the PL and/or Dyche's views on what a player needs.

He may be tall and whatnot, however is he ready for the intensity and physicality of what is required. I presume this is what they're looking to develop in him.

We'll have to be patient with the lad even though, shamefully, we're in a position where we need someone who can walk into the XI, or at least challenge for it.

A front 3 of Gibbs White, Awoniyi and Johnson is much better than we have at the moment. Not sold on Elanga but he will be a decent enough option there.
