I've been very supportive of Thelwell, but to let this happen for the second time in consecutive windows, there has to be questions asked of him and his position at the club now, he couldn't get the Toure deal over the line either

To an extent, yes, but this has diverted time and attention from ensuring we're securing the above. We were confident of Harrison and Gnotto coming in.

It's looking likely that one won't be coming, and quite possibly both. Will we get the centre forward?

Can those defending the club name me another club who conducted medicals with players twice in a calendar year only for those 2 players to head off elsewhere at the last minute.

What other clubs have players in their building having medical tests and still fail to complete the deals?

We are a constant circus. A nation embarrassment.

Has to be a first in world football surely for it to happen twice in the space of a few months.

Injured or not, he was a player the Manager, The DoF and the scouts all selected as somebody we wanted.

I get people trying to dress it up and im not even pointing fingers, but this isnt a bullet dodged for me, its an opportunity lost.

We lost a home game against an average side yesterday. Throwing away points when we escaped relegation is unforgivable. All because the club can't sign a striker. Makes you wonder what they did in terms of planning at the end of last season.

I think deep down we knew that will happen as soon as he was appointed. A chancer that ended up a clubs doing very little...
