Theres absolutely no point in selling Onana when we havent even spent the Kean money yet. We are still +22m this window because we have only bought 1 of the 4 players. We have enough to buy a striker, and gray will be sold, meaning we only need more funds to finance a CB or to actually purchase a 3rd winger.

We can't spend money because our wages burn through it. Anyone who's played any footy manager game knows this. Start of the window you're sitting on a wedge but because your wages are stupid you're broke and being told to sell players by October.

Exactly, some dopes at this club if we even picked up the phone for a £50m offer. The price should be set at £100m and they can try to negotiate us lower, with the market for midfielders the way it is now we should easily be getting £80m+ for Onana.

I was going to say something similar Baggzio. You make sense. I'll follow your comments from now on. It's on our court to set a high price then negotiate. But knowing our muppets, we'll probably say 45m will be enough.

But Caciedo is the same - absolutely nowhere near a £115m player. In this market, you can slap an extra 20-40m on a player depending on how gullible/desperate the buying club is. Realistically the Benchmark for Onana should be Lavia who's operating at the same level as Onana

….he’s worth whatever somebody is prepared to pay. The club are right in putting a big price tag on Onana, the big boys are circling because he could be very special.
