Not sure we should play chicken with the end of the window tbh, they might be happy to keep those players to push for promotion having sold a few for big money. Should be acting like every day is deadline day when it comes to a proper proven striker that has done a pre season and could walk straight into our matches if needed.

If we stopped loaning players out like Cannon to Preston and sold them for the reported 8mil fee we might have more in the kitty.

Seems we are gradually being gaslit into thinking a reliance on DCL is fine again.

It's like some strange 'plausible deniability' - 'we have strikers in DCL, Danjuma, Chemiti and Maupay'

Whatever it is , it is way more benefit to us monetary wise than a loan.
He's proven in the Championship and will have suitors.
IMO a better prospect than Simms and after various loans he got sold.
