He's been truly frozen out at Chelsea, a return to Italy looks unlikely. I appreciate the financial issues, I was more making a broader point that if we were at all able to find a way of loaning him from Chelsea we would have infinitely improved our attacking threat. I'd feel a lot more optimistic about the season ahead if Lukaku was leading the line rather than Maupay.

If I was at another club I would go out of my way to not do business with Everton, and if I was an agent or parent of a player I’d advise them to avoid us like the plague.
