Precisely my thoughts with regards to this. Although, if another club comes in for him and matches the Al Shabab offer, then he will have a decision to make.

He's been truly frozen out at Chelsea, a return to Italy looks unlikely. I appreciate the financial issues, I was more making a broader point that if we were at all able to find a way of loaning him from Chelsea we would have infinitely improved our attacking threat. I'd feel a lot more optimistic about the season ahead if Lukaku was leading the line rather than Maupay.

We got smashed on Sunday and nothing has changed. I know we have injuries to some of our better players but that’s a concern, we’re going to have injuries throughout the season and if we can’t handle that then we need to buy players. We need depth as well as quality. We have neither! If we lose on Saturday, what players would come for a normal wage?!

He is done at Chelsea. Juve and Inter as well. It is certainly worth a phone call. Become the legend he craves, but hasnt quite got there. Would love it, his ego wont though.
