I wanted Lewis Potter to be fair also, but i do remember thinking the fee Brentford played was a bit high.

Tavernier has probably been the best value signing and helped them especially at the tail end of the season. And i liked the look of him but at the time, if pushed would of said the Prem was probably to big a step for him at this point.

Not to put a dampener on this James Rodriguez lemon party, but has anyone actually looked how he got on in the Middle East and Olympiakos? I don’t just mean a set of numbers on Wikipedia, like was he actually any good? He’ll be 32 this summer and I suspect will want astronomical wages again. Aslong as there is progress within the team then he'll be staying. With the chopping and changing that has been going at Everton for the past 9 years of Moshiri era. Even the new owners would be absolute idiots to get rid if him.
