Leicester were the Brighton of a couple of years ago.

I wholly expect Brighton to go down in a few seasons.
But Leicester City we’re massively impacted by Covid, in particular the King Power group whose revenue dropped from billions to £400m.

They also missed the boat by not cashing in on people like Vardy, Maddison etc. They seemed to change their model when Rodgers arrived

Everyone was impacted by Covid TBF. They cashed in on a good few, in the last widow Fofana, they had Kante and Mahrez to.

Not the point really, its very hard to sustain the models long term - it requires a near perfect success rate - its sustainable for a time - but growth itself almost makes it top heavy, that's what happened at Leicester.

Same thing happened to Swansea who were the forbearers for Leicester, who were the forebeaers for Brighton.

You can have a look at Stoke and Burnley to - but more right then the above left.

They sold quite a few from their PL winning team, plus Maguire of course.

Loads of teams where affected by covid...Big red herring this.

Went down because their players downed tools.

I like Johnson. Not sure he had a great season last year though - not sure how many of his goals were penalties and seemed to find himself out of the team towards the end of the season. I’d be very happy with him but as others have said his value is at an all time high.

Oh, and please don’t mention him in relation to Kanchelskis.

Well who was the last quick and direct goalscoring right winger we had ?

This boy looks rapid, knows where the goal is and has just turned 22 last month.

i think he and MGW were their main threats moving the ball forward and he's the right profile for us.

8 goals and 3 assists is ok, like, but hardly game-changing numbers for us.
McNeil got 7 goals and 3 assists....

If both were in the team it would mean that they should have more space. Defences would need to spread themselves across to cover 2 threats.

Add a quality CF and opportunities open up.

Means nothing Zat, we are regarded as a laughing stock by many in Football, also how may half decent players do you realistically think will want to play for a guy like Dyche?

Plenty if we are gradually rebuilding with the right profiles of players...that others want to play with.

Jackson agreed terms with Bournemouth in January. Unless he went on holiday there with his parents every year as a boy and has always dreamt of playing for them, I’d say this makes him realistic for us. For all these lads is simply about getting to the PL.

Exactly.

Two domestic. No limit from overseas.

We should be all this.
