On the topic of defensive midfielders I saw we were also linked to batista mendy today
Nottingham Forest join Everton and Valencia in links to French midfielder Mendy
The 23-year-old is expected to leave Angers this summer after their relegation from Ligue 1 and with just a year remaining on his contractwww.nottinghampost.com
Not in my lifetime.
Weirdly specific amounts. I’d pop in a bid of £12.88m to see if they accept it, then withdraw it because he’s absolute mince. We were linked for most of Jan:
RB Leipzig have held talks with Man Utd over the signing of Anthony Elanga, according to Sky in Germany.
Man Utd want between £12.89m and £17.19m for the forward.
He’s just been told Everton are interested !!Interesting picture
Last January we lost players who literally opted saints and Bournemouth over us! How the mighty have fallenOf course we are not a top club...I meant that playing for a club in the bottom half of the Premiership is still an attractive option for a decent standard of footballer. Maybe I'm deluded but I do think there is more cachet playing for Everton than for, say, Bournemouth
Was it their choice? I thought we were batshxt crazy trying to get players in on buy now pay much later deals.Last January we lost players who literally opted saints and Bournemouth over us! How the mighty have fallen
Bookies have us as 7th faves to be relegated. In other words they expect us to finish 13th. I find it strange.Does anyone else find it really weird in interviews when people say we shouldn't be in a relegation fight with the "squad Everton have".
I absolutely think we should be.
The team just isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. The 3 promoted teams have less proven squads at best but honestly are just worse. Bournemouth and Forest aren't particularly talented and Wolves are pretty questionable also. I think the case is easy to make personally.Bookies have us as 7th faves to be relegated.
