Danjuma swerved us because we sacked frank at the same time as he was finalizing his paperwork ,frank despite being an awful manager still was able to utilize his fame as a player to attract footballers. Supposedly the chaos of the scenario deterred danjuma from fully committing

He's not currently on Gana's level stats wise, in either tackles or interceptions, but if he's got improvement in him then £5m is a pittance in today's market. It's the kind of canny signing we need to be making to be fair.

I think these signings are what Everton should be aiming for, but reading the article I found it disconcerting there was a mention of Everton trying to persuade the club to lower their price. Nothing wrong with trying to be savvy in negotiations and to obtain the best value but going from our history that's probably not the case and is a possible indication of how bleak our budget is....lol
