seen links to Southampton Central Defender Salisu, apparently his contract runs out in 2024 and they may want to sell this summer, rather than jim leaving for nothing. I could see us being in for central defenders as Mina is out of contract and coady will be heading back to Wolves.

I have no idea if Salisu is any good, I think the only player that stands out for Southampton is Ward-Prowse because he takes all the set pieces.

I'd be shocked if Spurs don't come in for Pickford. Anything north of £35m and we'd probably take it.
If we go down that's almost definitely a number we accept but not if we stay up. He's had a second strong season in a row while around the league it feels like there's been quite a lot of poor goalkeeping, so I think his stock has risen quite a bit this year and together with the new contract I don't see why we'd take less than 50-60m if we stay in the PL.

completely agree. If we stay up he goes for big money - especially as he's one of the few assets we have. He's matured into a leader, he's one of the best with his feet and he's Englands undisputed number 1 and the National Teams most successful keeper since Banks (i think - I'm struggling to think of a keeper get as far in major comps). If one of the Sky 6 want him they need to pay a premium.
