He's still a 1 in 2.83 (so 3 essentially) goals/game striker. Not undroppable, but how much better do you think we can do considering the variables (finances, players wanting to come, etc)?

I just assumed he was going for nothing.

He's better than his strike rate suggests (0.26 goals per match is lower than almost every other striker I could think of as a comparison), but the way some go on about him, you'd think this was Milan waiting for van Basten.

It shouldn't be that hard to improve on a decent target man with an otherwise limited skillset.

Counter point…anyone we sign is a gamble and if we take the cheap road and get relegated it’s a whole lot more expensive than 17mil.
