Its an individual choice mate, wed both be speculating - personally i think a couple of years at Sporting and a tilt at Europe would be appealing, Lisbon is lovely also, but some may opt for the wonga - that's really all we can offer.

Yeah, can argue the toss either way, I’d probably go with the weather and a great city to live in, but maybe that’s one of many reasons I’m not an elite sportsman: if he wants to challenge himself against the best the PL (not necessarily with us ofc) is the place to be, not Portugal with a bit of Europa league chucked in.

Looks like Gyokeres is going to Sporting Lisbon for £17m, defo missing an opportunity there he is more than good enough to improve our goalscoring. We are going to be left behind, it wouldn't surprise me if at the end of the window we get Coady for £2m and eventually decide to give Andros Townsend a 12 month contract.

Gyokeres may not fancy the thought of playing support striker to DCL , if DCL is fit then he starts.
