I assume its so McNeil can be moved central and/or he replaces Gray in the squad.

If the release clause is a thing sure, £10m for Gray? No one is buying Gray off us.

The Maitland-Niles link is good if hes used as a right back. Hes a solid 7/10 player there but the issue has been hes always said he wants to play midfield (although this was disputed a couple of years ago).
