If the rumours are true about Leeds wanting to ounce on us legally if they are able to, I think dealing with them for any of their players may be too troublesome in terms of fees they are demanding and the amount of time it would take to negotiate.
Absolutely a non-factor. The same things were said about Burnley and they sold us McNeil. And Leeds finished 19th so there isn't a conceivable thing they could sue us for, and they won't be giving it any thought. If we'd been deducted a million points they'd still have been relegated.

Had no idea of Harrison’s route to Leeds. Crazy. Former teammate of Lampard at New York, and most importantly 8 goals and 11 assists in 22 games for Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

Also didn’t know he was only 5 foot 9? Really?

We urgently need to stop buying people that are “also comfortable on the right.” Or “could probably be fill in on the right.” Or “plays centre back but can also cover Gana as DM”.

If we need a right footed right midfielder/winger, just sodding buy one.

Although on the plus side….

Is she a right winger?

I'm sure I saw someone in here say that Jack Harrison would be the most Sean Dyche signing ever if Leeds go down, and it's stuck in my head. Couldn't agree more, it just sounds nailed on somehow. So I checked out the stats.

- 1.5 key passes per game, which puts him 24th in the league and on a par with Eze, Robertson, Kane, Sancho, Estupiñan and Cresswell. Iwobi is slightly ahead of him with 1.6.
- Joint with Iwobi, Eriksen, Kulusevski, Grealish, Haaland and Xhaka with 7 assists.

The point being he's not terrible and Dyche will definitely sign him so it's best to come to terms with it now.

Don't typically quote myself, but I posted this on page 70 and it highlights some useful Harrison stats, and I feel slightly vindicated that we're actually interested in the most Dyche signing ever.

Team of relegated players he said mate.

In our last starting XI we have Pickford, Gueye, Doucoure, McNeil and Tarks...if we look at the bench there're Begovic and Keane as well.
And other than maybe Yerry those five were our best players in the run-in. So maybe the experience of getting relegated taught them a thing or two about not getting relegated.

Genuine question: is anyone in the market for Jonathan Bamba? Always liked him at Lille, without a shadow of a doubt one of the best players available on frees and, although primarily a LW, he has good numbers when played on the right. Much better player than Harrison and a fraction of the spend.

If no-one has snapped him up yet we'd be mad to not try for him. Especially when going for a player like Harrison instead 🙄

Is Jack Harrison not a weird link. Left wing is probably the one position that is ok.
Harrison can play both sides, and we have no depth in any position, other than centre half.

I'm a very big fan of the lad Harrison. He has a lot of engine, a really good shot, and would definitely improve our wide options.

Centre forward though is what matters. I don't really want to hear of other business until we sign 2 strikers. We would be better of next year with 2 good strikers, and no one else, rather than lots of other good signings but no strikers.
