Dont get the talk of mcneil in the center keep the lad out wide. Hit real form on that left side keep him there.
Don't worry m8, Remember who our manager is. A thought like that would have ( no matter how it could pay off ) or will not ever cross his mind...

Yeah Harrison and or Gnoto are good additions if we move Gray/Iwobi.
I like Harrison, good player and def willing to put the hard graft in when needed ( also sure he scored on final game of last 2 seasons!! )

But we seriously have to prioritise firstly, with whatever we can spend. And another LW doesn't even touch that list..

Statistically he is more or less the same…. 25 goals and 21 assists in 139 games from the left and 16 goals and 13 assists 93 games from the right. Played about half his games on the right last season.

I mean he is probably better on the left, but I wouldn’t move McNeil. Harrison is versatile, should settle in quick and I think would be a Dyche type of guy. Upside is limited, but we may not do much better for 16m.

If we could get him and the Diallo on loan and have a winger rotation of McNeil, Harrison and Diallo, then I think we are worlds ahead of McNeil, Iwobi and Gray.

Plus it seems feasible…

Thanks, i wasnt aware he was also decent on the right.

McNeil had his best games towards the end of the season when he was cutting inside into the middle more. He isn't an out and out winger imo, doesn't have the running for it.

I was thinking for the left/centre positions we would have McNeil, Harrison, Doucoure...and of course Gray.

But i hasnt realised Harrison could also be useful on the right.

Still though, why would we be signing (or trying to sign) Harrison to be used on the right if hes better on the left.

Anyone we could flog to Saudi Arabia. The money they are paying is outrageous
I know typical Everton again will miss out on this money being thrown around, look at wolves getting £55 mil for Nunes, Chelsea getting some for Ziech & Koubali, no doubt stupid amounts of cash flowing through their coffers

Harrison can play both sides, and we have no depth in any position, other than centre half.

I'm a very big fan of the lad Harrison. He has a lot of engine, a really good shot, and would definitely improve our wide options.

Centre forward though is what matters. I don't really want to hear of other business until we sign 2 strikers. We would be better of next year with 2 good strikers, and no one else, rather than lots of other good signings but no strikers.

Agree with all this - Harrison is a good player. Yes, he's left footed, but he seems equally comfortable playing the "McNeil" role, but also coming inside on his left foot from the right. He also has a decent right foot, unlike McNeil. Has a great first touch, is a clever player, but I guess his delivery isn't always great. Also not lightning quick (though probably quicker than McNeil). Puts in a proper defensive shift as well. I can totally understand why, at £16m, he'd be of interest.
