Agree with all this - Harrison is a good player. Yes, he's left footed, but he seems equally comfortable playing the "McNeil" role, but also coming inside on his left foot from the right. He also has a decent right foot, unlike McNeil. Has a great first touch, is a clever player, but I guess his delivery isn't always great. Also not lightning quick (though probably quicker than McNeil). Puts in a proper defensive shift as well. I can totally understand why, at £16m, he'd be of interest.
It's a no brainer for Harrison. He's adaptable and he's a very good PL standard.

People have lost sense of reality if they think Harrison shouldn't be pursued. The big spending days are over and they need to recognise it.

I'd certainly think Harrison is a good option but not sure he would think the same of us.

Might be something that Leeds have new owners as the gripe they and other clubs have towards us would have probably resulted in an additional sour grapes premium to buy him.

Outside of frees and loans, I really think this summer is the one above all others to try and get value from Europe or globally. We will always have to pay more for domestic signings and the job of trying to make a limited budget stretch to cover several positions just gets more difficult each year.

I've no problem signing Harrison...he's a decent pro and Dyche will make good use of him. But it’s precisely because the big spending days are over that we need to think twice before buying anybody. Is he exactly what we need? Because we cannot afford to waste a penny

I think he'll be used on the right flank. We need a hard worker over there to help out defending but who can also get forward with a goal threat. With Townsend gone and Gray not offering that much he's an ideal candidate for that position.

Yes, I agree. Talk of moving McNeil into a more central role and playing Harrison wide left makes no sense to me. And selling Gray would more or less cover the cost of the transfer, I think. Lot of ifs at this time of the year, aren't there?
