Forgot about him, he'd be a good shoutWhats happened to Bissouma?
No way could you get those 2 for 40m. I think 50m would be a starting point.I'd guess £40m would get the pair, maybe at a push £50m if things are competitive. Don't think Southampton would stand in JWP's way and put a mad price on him, as for Barnes I think Leicester are in big financial trouble if they're down, there'll be an absolute fire sale going on.
I'm kinda basing this off of us probably selling Onana too of course, for probably £60m+ like has been rumoured, I think that along with Gordon being sold for massive profit as well as contracts expiring and things like that should mean that we have room to maneuver in the summer. I don't know if it's been said somewhere but I swear I've seen that we're basically away from the worst of the financial 3 year rotation thing and we won't be monitored as strictly for spending. Also with the alledged outgoing of Moshiri and co. I think if there's a new regime they'll want to spend what they can to solidify their investment in the club.

When you look at the top sides they have incredible pace spread all over the team.
We have signed too many good footballers with no real pace , if you want to start to build a new team then pace is an absolute must have.
I believe that Southampton indicated to Spurs that they wouldn't let JWP go for less than £75 million. Whether that stance has changed with relegation I don't know but my impression was that their finances did not require a fire sale
Opinions on bringing in Walker Peters as a short term option whilst Patterson develops.
Alternatively we could get Livramento but I dont see much point as we already have Patterson who is very young.
We shouldnt fall into Southamptons trap of not having enough PL experienced players if we stay up.
Have the usual suspects resurfaced to compile lists of youth players we should be signing, then complaining that we haven't sold anyone over the age of 23...or are we saving that till the window actually opens?
Always my favourite part of the transfer window?

Again, whilst everyone likes to guess at whose likely to go, it gets painful to hear people moan why the club aren't getting rid of some players; there are only so many times you can repeat that to sell, you need someone to actually want to buy them.Theres a list of players to sell...hope it makes your day a little more sunny

Much rather we made low risk signings for a few mill across south america/europe. Mitoma/Caicedo types - they can be found, we'd just rather over pay for players thatve played a few games in the PL at over inflated prices. Please no more maupay type signings
