Summer transfer window 2023

The manager doesn't have to be at work for players to be signed. If they haven't agreed the list and the recruitment team are working on them then we aren't doing it properly. Also it's the weekend
In fact it would be better if the manager wasn't around when we signed players imo

Assuming Myers is hearing from someone at the club, it's unusual to hear an opening approach described as a "good offer". If a fair offer is probably 10-15m that suggests to me the reports of 20m might not be far off what's on the table.
We would consider 5million a good offer in a climate when they offered Niasse 6 million

But it's more like a bailout - they paid more for Neves than I think Wolves fans were expecting they'd accept with 1 year left on his contract, and they're taking massive earners from Chelsea who otherwise would've been difficult to shift.

Any Saudi deals don't impact the current year as their window doesn't open till 1st July.

Not sure that it matters. How is it any different to Richarlison moving to Spurs last summer?

He was sold on the 30th June to be counted in the previous season’s books, but our/Spurs window doesn’t open until the 1st?

It doesn't matter. Just can't register them till 1st July.

Hope he hasn’t talked to Moise Kean about the forgiving fans at EFC when you don’t hit the ground running
Hmmmm not sure on this one. He played about 20 games before he scored his first goal. He came on against United away and got subbed within twenty minutes for obviously not doing what Big Dunc has instructed him to do. He’s gone back to Juventus where their fans have fallen out of love with him for his lacklustre performances. You are basically saying are fans have something to do with him not developing as he should. The same fans who created a banner with his face supporting no racism and were desperate for him to succeed.

15 million would go towards we need to sell by next week

other players need to go clearing the wage bill
All these outgoings need to be replaced. Based on this clubs past recruitment record we will probably be begging for Gray to come back. I have zero confidence that whoever comes in will be better or even if anyone comes in at all.
