I am starting the relegation thread the night before game 1 if we haven't signed any forwards lol

Why is that an unrealistic thing to say? We survived on the last day of the season and have since signed no new players.

I understand the concern I am too until we bring in goals and good reinforcements, but let's wait and see who we can bring in for the next month or so and then see before we panic.

Disagree with loaning players to a possible rival down the bottom next season. If they want him make them pay.

He's a calamity, Sheff U is up where he's from, takes his wages off our books if we could insert a option to buy it's good business all round.

I just don't have the energy to panic preseason after two seasons of anxiety and depression over the state of this club and where the team is. Let's see no the club hasn't given us reason to be confident but once we move the likes of Gray, Holgate, Simms we should have more room to move for the additions we need goal scorer being number one then a left back, winger and dominant centre half for me. I will judge whether to panic when I see the signings.

Or defenders. Or if the forwards and defenders we do sign seem unconvincing. It's hard to imagine a world where that thread isn't up and running by mid-August

I'm actually not panicking right now, because I didn't expect any June business. There's no reason to expect early business at this club, we are never organised and probably need a sale first.

If we don't have players in before the first game then I will absolutely panic at that point. We can't be leaving it to the last few days again because it was a total shambles in the last two windows. You also throw points away by waiting till 31 August and you don't get those points back.

Currently we don't have the forwards to keep us in the league in my opinion. But we have 6 weeks to change that. My biggest concern is the stuff going on at ownership and boardroom level, and that the manager and DOF won't get the backing they need.

Oh I'm relaxed, more because I don't care than anything else. I didn't believe anyone would come in in June but also thought maybe we'd see some stronger links than we've had. No link so far has ever felt real.
