One thing I didn't get from the Podcast was how it helps us buy players. Yes it comes to the club, but if it comes in as a loan then it doesn't help our profit and loss line which is the hurdle we have to overcome before we buy again. I don't think we short of cash necessarily... we short of income.
My take is that the money helps with cashflow and the stadium. It likely helps us secure additional borrowing to complete the stadium and has no impact on transfers. Keeps us afloat.

Any ins have to be generated from sales helped by some high wages coming off.

Don't know if accurate but sounds like it.

Lets hope that the Gray, Holgate rumours are true.

Unfortunately a lot of our fans turn there nose up at players sold by United etc, as if they are somehow rejects.

Pretty much any United swayed player would walk straight into our team.

I remember the uproar on here when someone dared link us to Tripper, he was supposedly, a reject and a failure.
I mean Gibson, Cleverley, Beekster, Rooney, Schneiderlin et al will influence your opinion a bit tbf

He would have been a failure if he came here. Belting in boss crosses to nobody.

Do NOT go for Raul Sanhelli, the guy is a crook and a Fraud.

Got sacked by us because of the Pepe deal, with later findings coming out about him swindeling money from it personally.

He's SO shady, not a guy to put in charge of you're rebuild.
Sounds a perfect fit for us then.

He's a calamity, Sheff U is up where he's from, takes his wages off our books if we could insert a option to buy it's good business all round.
Problem with an option to buy is that it requires not only that Holgate plays well for them but that they survive relegation and they can meet his wage demands.

Not great odds that he'll not be back.
