Any good news we may have in the next week or so....for example, I think signing Gnonto would be a good thing....Will be offset by the selling of Branthwaite. If he wants to go then there isn't much we can do about it but it will leave our defensive options for next season much weaker

I'm not convinced he's desperate to go. The sources I've said he is have linked him with West Ham which is the dictionary definition of a sideways step.

I hope you're right. But the indignity of being second choice behind Keane would make anybody eager to escape the asylum. I'll let 'sideways step' slide cos I want it to be true, too..
