Don't know enough about Gyokeres and N'Diaye to know if they are any good, I just hope whoever we get in forward areas can control a ball and doesn't go down at the first sign of contact, so sick of watching players with no bottle or fight being scared of full backs etc
Would love to see a player again who gets you excited when he gets on the ball, been far to long!

I say it every year and I’ll say it again:

Pretty much everyone in here is well aware that our financial situation is uncertain at best, and yet here we are again, with relentless cryarsing about no signings and it isn’t even July yet.

Every one of you sorry little meffs line yourselves up in The New Arena and I’ll play whack-a-mole with your noggins.

and every ( past two ) we’ve signed NO striker forgive us mate, but didn’t you know we’re a mess of the pitch and it’s wrong as dyche is in the wilderness

it’s ok tho lads we make signings in january
when we’re rooted

…Terms like 'the physicality of the Premier League' dont wash as anyone who has watched South American football will tell you that it makes the EPL players look like fairies….
It’s also confusing because whenever we look likely to be relegated, lots of shouts of “our players will get eaten alive in the Championship,” like its a Mexican prison. But yet new players need a free pass season to get used to the PL.

And baffling when we send young wet behind the ears strikers to the Championship to get them ready for the PL, but heaven forbid we actually buy a Championship striker because they won’t be able to play in the PL.

No wonder Kev gets so confused that he just buys no-one.

Speaking with a Sheffield United fan today he's petrified we'll come in and take Ndiaye away. He's one of those players that's a joy to watch and has a really high ceiling. I watched a little of Gyokeres last season and can see why Dyche might be after him but if it's between Gyokeres or Ndiaye, I'd be all over the latter

Both Please...

His time at Man Utd is why we shouldn't sign him. He won't get half as many chances here, his goal return isn't good enough in his two PL seasons. I have no doubt he'll do fine in a slower paced league, which is where I think he'll end up.
Like any player it depends how they fit into a team.

I actually don't think Maupay is quite as bad as we have made him look, he was never going to be a success here with us expecting him to just play the same role as DCL for example.

Have we even been linked with him?

I think he'd be a breath of fresh air. There's a real bounce and energy to his play...when was the last time we made a signing that gave the place a lift?

This is it.
At some point we have to fill the team with team players. James Garner is a good example. Long term planning as we all know has been poor if not absent in recent years.

Probably only by people on here and then it ends up on Twitter then ends up on the Daily Fail!

Is the lad a cf or cam have only seen yt vids of the lad so i guess the club would still be after a target man to play snd replace dcl

Sporting are offering Coventry a package for Gyökeres which includes a 35% future sell-on clause

Oh, and Gyökeres has switched his agent. I'm not sure if that's news or not to people.
