How long's he got left on his contract, cos he wont ever see anything like that again, whoever he went to.
suppose it was the only way to prize him away from City.
Wouldn't be surprised if Leicester let him go for basically anything just to get that off there wage bill now...

When their next best option up front is Vardy, who's probably on even more, looks like his legs are on their last go, and got zero resale value, I'd really doubt it.

Important to remember that while he is well sourced and has connections in the club, Bobble isn't in the building, so to some extent he doesn't know what he doesn't know when it comes to transfers etc.

The club will know who he is (it's no secret) and who he gets his information from, and there will be strict instructions regarding more sensitive matters like transfer negotiations that the club strictly want to keep confidential. So him not knowing about negotiations (or not being allowed to say) is not the same as saying they aren't happening.

As I recall he painted a fairly bleak picture most of last summer and we got 8 in through the door, quite a few of which arrived without much being said beforehand by him or anyone else.
I may be wrong, but to my knowledge Bobble’s information may often come from the press team, who’d definitely not know about such things.

Se that Coventry striker is going to Sporting Lisbon, agreed a fee apapparently
Yeah, €20m is the top end of what I'd have thought would be acceptable. 35% sell on clause seems excessive.

It is what it is. Anyone getting business done early has an advantage on us as we aren't in a position to do any yet

Back in the Moyes era, anytime we were linked with players, it was always framed with us having to fight off competition from Bolton and Stoke.
The more things change etc.

I think we dodged a bullet here. It's a big step up from Championship to Premier League. Look at Simms, great at Sunderland struggled at Everton. Although he is in a poor team, and put in the hardest away games.

I think the Coventry player will do great in Portugal.

There might be an increase in action from the 1st July. There would be little point in doing anything before then unless a sale was needed to balance the years books like last year. I want Dyche to be the decider of every player that comes and goes, he is the only one i would trust out of all of them currently and he knows exactly what sort of team he wants to build i.e work ethics, effort, attitude etc.
