We ain't going to win the league or champions league in the next decade or more, I'd be delighted with a league cup win or a Europa Conference League win. I'm sick of seeing 6th place as an achievement, my kids couldn't care less about Everton (despite my efforts) and part of it is that we just make up the numbers. I took them to a cup final with my local non-league team and, even though they lost, they were dead excited about it. Winning stuff matters, even if it isn't the top prizes.

A tin cup that we can't even qualify for, some people need to get with reality.

Win the Euro Conference thing, you automatically quality for the Europa League. Win that you automatically qualify for the champions league.

Means you can also attract better players.

But I also agree, never say no to winning any trophy

Oh give over stop talking rubbish. Most here don't agree. Fancy not wanting us to be successful, that's odd af. Like has been said above, winning that gets you in the Europa league. Do you not like European nights or something?

As this is the transfer thread, it will also make us more attractive to better players as well.

It's just sulking: can't win so don't want to win. Every Evertonian needs a coping mechanism but this one is particularly sad
 
Disregarding the fact that we are skint, who the hell is going to want to come to Everton? I think the only chance we have is enticing someone from the Championship, and just hope that no one else shows any interest.
If you were a professional player with any ambition, why would you??

I don't want to sound too optimistic but Brighton, for example, has shown that there are good quality players around the world who want to play in the Premiership. If you don't mind us being a stepping stone on the way to City or Liverpool then that's one route we could go down
