Do you think a prem team would trust a 20yr old kid with limited prem experience and ply him straight away.He wouldnt start for a prem side, despite being in a superior team to several...only last season?
Yes, but we should be going for “better than DCL” (or potential to be better).Partly agree because I think our first 11 of recent times was not too bad, but apart from one or two we had no quality on then bench (DCL / MAUPAY the best example). That is why players like Rodrigo & Danjuma etc decent signings as we operate on a small budget
That says a lot doesn’t it? We get a loan player in, who following his loan spell where he did not feature is only good enough to go to Hull….what an absolute joke of a wage and a loan place. These are the type of things I look at….once someone leaves us, where do they then go….this gives an indication of whether they were good enough at this level in the first place.Vinagre going to Hull
They’re cup games. Virginia had a great game v city in the cup, should we have made him first choice and dropped Pickford.Arsenal and Sevilla arent in the "Dutch league"
In my mind we were big favourites to drop at the point he was appointed. No money was spent when all our rivals spent in many cases quite significant sums. So in my mind he has earned the right to continue.Nah. You're talking rubbish mate. There is zero evidence of Dyche playing good stuff - bar one goal his Burnley side scored against an Everton team averse to tackling.
We were horrible in possession - as were his Burnley side. Set pieces, although better than previous, were still awful.
The foreign shouts are so lazy it's not even worth getting into.
And if you think Dyche was 'saving' Mina, you've genuinely lost the plot. He put him back in when he realised that Michael Keane was going to relegate us - about 5 games later than everyone else.
You may he happy with continued low standards at this club - I'm fed up with it.
It’s not exactly early now is it when the window has been open for nearly three weeks to register players and we could have been agreed deals in principle before thatSo you think getting loans in early would be smart?
Give me Alex Scott (not the commentator ) all day long. He’s an absolute Rolls Royce of a player! When I’m not watching the blues I’m watching Bristol City, so I’ve seen plenty of him. Unfortunately, I don’t think we can afford him
I don't think his style is bad when we had enough fit players, think it is fast paced and decent to watch. Having said that he moulded the best he could from the mess he walked into and is now having to create a team from £0.Nah. You're talking rubbish mate. Big difference to being in for someone and paying the price we’d want.
I heard RS want him

His true style will become clearer to us all with his own men in place but I think it is unfair to complain about last season. Nobody gave him a chance of keeping us up, he did.
Concede your point about Mina though (JD influenced) but as it turned out it probably was best he came back for the run-in as he would not have lasted too long.
Nobody is happy with low standards but any manager needs the tools to do the job. Everton the business is a mess and neither Dyche, Pep, Klopp, Superman etc are getting us any higher than reasonably mid-table next season.
Say what you want mate. He's terrible. He came in when we were 2nd from bottom. Thelwell didn't provide him with any players and we sold Gordon. Not exactly great tools to play with when we had shown all season that these players are not very good.
Dyche had to work hard to get something out of this shabby lot of players and without key players for most of his tenure a record of P18 W5 D6 L7 is not bad considering. Every team we played under Dyche was above us in the league and he kept us up when it looked unlikely.
You have to forget his Burnley days as that was a constant battle for him due to lack of funds and he did a decent job there with hands tied behind his back.
What we learned from his time at Burnley is that Dyche can make the best of a bad lot. If Dyche ever gets decent funds here he may get us established again over a couple of seasons and I think that will be his remit....it has to be.
Depending on budget I think Dyche will have to shop in Lidl and that is not Dyches fault. He came to a calamity of a Club and did well to keep us up.
Deserves to be kept on no doubt.
he's a 30 mil prem transfer. PSV offered 15 and we didnt sniff.
