Just went onto a Swansea forum to see what they are saying about Piroe. They seem to think it's all sown up for him to move to Forest. He prefers a move to Forest over us, as he thinks they're the better option, plus it would reunite him with Steve Cooper.

The posters that are saying this are adamant that he doesn't want to come to Everton, but is desperate to leave Swansea, so we'll see.
Time to once again mention that Simms who this forum is mostly adamant can't make it in the PL had a better rate of goals and assists than Piroe did in the same league last season while also being younger.

I personally think Piroe is a tidy player with a nice range of finishes and good technical ability but I do have my doubts about his ability to step up to the PL. Serious doubts at that.

We need a right winger not another left winger. McNeil and Gray are both left sided players, we have no right sided player (Iwobi is not the answer and it's not his position) unless we are genuinely prepared to give Mills a go (believe it when I see it)

fair enough, must be able to play both sides as that other thing said left winger

Yeah i should have added that everywhere it says his main position is RW but can also play LW

Interesting given they have Awoniyi already who actually had a solid season and plays as a target. I’d actually take him over Piroe, granted I know next to nothing about Piroe.

Also, sadness if Forest are actually seen as a better option.

I get it. I'm just saying if we sell Simms and sign Rodrigo, whatever you think of Simms, it's yet another sign the club doesn't get it. At some point you've got to be able to see past 12 months in the future.
I don't disagree I have been banging the drum that we need to develop younger players and scout and secure more of them. However I don't think Simms is ready for PL level regardless of his age right now and we can't afford to give him the time in the perilous position we are in, we can't afford to turn our noses up at funds to strengthen the squad overall. You also need a squad and a mixture of youth and experience especially the position we are in can we really take risks on every player we bring in? Do we have the luxury of bringing in only punts? I think it's a mixture but I agree if it's only older players we are repeating mistakes if it's a mixed strategy I see the logic.

Selling Simms is whatever. Buying Rodrigo is just categorically a bad idea.
