I do wonder though if that was the case surely our more saleable assets would definitely have been sold and there might have been some wiggle room. That’s not what I wanted just for clarity
Yea dunno...It seems that it has been gradual decline. If this new financial year cant fix our position in the market...then it's proper messed up

Because you keep weirdly shifting the goalposts each and every time. My point is that I don't rate Dyche. You then ask me who could realistically get this crew into Europe (as I stated, not something I would expect of any manager in our current state), now it is who was available at the time we hired Dyche and then whether they would have taken the job. How would I know what's in the minds of different managers, what their contract situations are/were and whether Everton would be prepared to pay for any contract relases etc?

Hypothetical nonesense that distracts from all the points I raised about why I don't like Dyche. It would be like someone on here going through a list of reasons (based on performance) why they don't like a player that plays for us and instead of discussing those points responding by saying well who else could we get that was available we could afford? They are different conversations.

I support Everton FC and want us to be better. You seem more interested in supporting Sean Dyche - which is really weird.
Nowhere did I suggest Dyche would get us into Europe. He was taken on purely to keep us in the Prem and to stabilise out position in the division on what appears will be a shoestring budget until at least BM is up and running. My question to you was a simple one ( you'd imagine) at the time Lampard was sacked which manager would you have preferred we had appointed? I'm not asking you to split the atom.
