Cheers, I’m well aware where he’s been used, but if you use your eyes, and stick a game on, you’ll see he’s not actually one. Godfrey has lots of apps there too, is he one?

Watched him for the u21s last season a few times. Good player but £4 mil is a lot of a money for a kid. Isn’t that what the academy is for?
When you consider that players we’ve paid tens of millions for have walked for zilch, £4m for a kid who cost us nothing, has never kicked a ball for the first team and had no intention of signing a contract is cracking business.

A huge shame that we cannot keep our best players from the big clubs anymore, we had only recently lost Emilio Lawrence to Manchester City.

I agree, it's money coming in without reducing our already weak first team squad.
With our record, of keeping kids until they are in their mid 20's who never get in the first team, yes it is. It's money now on potential, hopefully we won't regret it in a few years. But it's were we are as a club.
