It just highlights how clueless our owner and directors are about football in general...

- Not realising a striker is an important part of the team (Can't believe I'm actually having to write this)

- Not seeming to understand the importance of getting players in early for pre-season and to gel. Or not even early, just not last minute

- selling key players and not replacing them
Yes we must be the most badly run club the league and it's been the same for now many years? It's going to catch up with us very soon it we don't recruit properly and fast

The fact we show no viable path to the first team for these prospects is criminal in out position

Or he is going to a club that has a history of setting players up to have good careers in the game.

To say we don’t offer a path isn’t really true, we’ve had a fair share of academy players come through, certainly no less than the average prem team gets.

please Thelwell agree NOW !!!
Everton waiting for club to agree an obligation to buy at end of loan period...

To be fair we are supposed to prop up the youth for either sales or first team. 4 mil is a good fee for essentially an unknown by league standards. This is what we should have been doing if we didn’t see them in the first team.

Strange that. Young, promising prospect on super-low wages. Or an ageing, slow, not very good defender, who turns like a canal barge, who's probably on 70-80 grand per week. Surprising we haven't got teams all over us for Keane...
Being a sub for a top half team makes you a more attractive option than being a sub for a relegation candidate. If Keane was on Brighton's bench people would be interested.
